Applied research institute

Is the air in your home healthy? University of Illinois Indoor Climate Research and Training Group is recruiting single-family homes built after 2012 for two New studies on indoor air quality in homesone on radon and the other on general contaminants. The houses should be about an hour’s drive from Urbana-Champaign. Participants help ICRT advance building science knowledge and learn more about their own home. Sign up your kids for a fun night of play at I-Power! Saturday 13 November from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Kids will play in the main gymnasium and ninja gymnasium, eat Jimmy John dinner, watch a short video, then play some more! 5-13 years old, $ 50 per child, prior registration is required.

Tree festival

The Champaign-Urbana Junior League is delighted to bring this centuries-old tradition back to the Champaign-Urbana community this year, from November 19 to 21.
