1970s

As a young princess, who turned 18 in 1968, Anne was ahead of what was in fashion.

When she was in her twenties, Anne chose bold colors to make a statement wherever she went, with many events being movie premieres.

Photos from her outing showed Anne taking the hemlines of the decades and quickly moving on to the flowers the ’70s were famous for.

In 1973, Anne was pictured arriving for the film’s royal performance at the Odeon in Leicester Square.

Her hair was styled into a bun and she chose a floor-length multi-colored dress.

With a high ruffled collar, the men’s bodice was made from elastic and had half-puffed sleeves from above the elbow to the wrist.

The dress had an A-line skirt and the pattern was adorned with bright colors of pink, yellow, green and cornflower blue.

On another occasion, Anne was seen with her mother and father, Prince Philip.

She and Queen Elizabeth had coordinated as they both wore slightly different shades of blue.

Towards the end of the decade, Princess Anne was seen attending a film premiere in London and was pictured wearing a turquoise green maxi dress.

With cap sleeves and a stand-up collar, the dress was adorned with two large contrasting purple stripes, one at the waist and the other on the shoulders.

In a great demonstration of understanding the mission, Kacey Musgraves has teamed up with an all-American label to create her 2021 Met Gala look.

On Monday night, the Grammy-winning singer, 33, honored the “American Independence” dress code by wearing a custom set from the Ralph Lauren collection including an asymmetrical handkerchief skirt, black jersey turtleneck top, belt in patent leather, knee high boots and a black clutch (as seen in the sketch below, shared exclusively with PEOPLE).

“I’m so excited to wear Ralph because, I mean, when you think of American fashion, this is one of the first that comes to mind,” said the damn the artist told Emma Chamberlain in a red carpet interview for Vogue. “He is the a. So, I am delighted to be here. “

As for the inspiration behind her look, Musgraves said she “went for some sort of equestrian influence.”

“I mean, I’m a rider through and through,” she added with a laugh. “I’m from Texas. And also I just like the s—.”

Musgraves made her Met Gala debut in 2019, channeling a blonde bombshell barbie doll for the event.

Leaning into the performance’s “camp” theme, Musgraves wore a chewing-gum pink Moschino leather jacket dress, accessorized with a hairdryer pouch, feather boa, and long blonde curls that looked like to the iconic doll.

In an interview with PEOPLE in 2019, Cloud described Musgrave’s overall style vibe as “a little retro, a little pioneering.”

“Kacey is smart, fun, and creative, and I love portraying him with his wardrobe,” she told PEOPLE. “Even when her lyrics are soulful or melancholy, there is always hope and purpose behind them. She wears colors and textures with confidence and energy, and I think that speaks for her music too.”

The Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art unofficially closed New York Fashion Week on Monday with the first star-studded Met Gala since 2019.

The new exhibition “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion” aims to establish a modern vocabulary of American fashion based on its expressive qualities. Open to visitors from September 18, the small-scale exhibition features 100 looks of men and women that represent 12 emotions, including nostalgia, belonging, pleasure, joy, wonder, affinity. , confidence, strength, desire, confidence, comfort and awareness.

The exhibition is particularly contemporary compared to previous exhibitions of the Costume Institute.

Sterling Ruby’s “Veil Flag”, a denim envelope made during the Black Lives Matter movement in summer 2020, anchors the first exhibition space. The flag, which explores the concept of this symbolic element “as an evolving signifier and how our relationship with it can change when activated as a veil,” is featured alongside the quote from Jesse Jackson of the Democratic National Committee of 1984 comparing the United States to a quilt rather than a blanket made from a single unbroken piece of fabric.

The space also houses upcycled, patchwork and quilted pieces by Heron Preston, Greg Lauren, Bode and No Sesso, as well as a 1976 dress made from recycled denim clothing from Serendipity 3, the New York born general store. in the 1950s which is now a tourist hotspot for Instagram-worthy desserts.

“In America: a fashion lexicon”

Sweaters with the American flag line a hallway to the second floor. Heirloom designs by Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger are juxtaposed with Mexican American Willy Chavarria’s 2019 Falling Stars sweater reflecting the “fear and alienation experienced by immigrants to the United States”. Denim Tears’ 2021 “Tyson Beckford” sweater, a reinterpretation of Ralph Lauren’s design, replaces the American flag with a version of the Pan-African flag.

The main gallery illustrates the eclecticism of American fashion ranging from Christopher John Rogers’ F / W ’20 plaid taffeta ball gown, Thom Browne uniforms and a Halston shirt dress to Savage X Fenty lingerie. American fashion’s fixation on comfort is evident in the checkered flannel pieces by A. Potts, the quilted dress by Matthew Adams Dolan and a row of preppy casual wear from Fear of God, Tommy Hilfiger, Perry Ellis. and more.

The exhibition also touches on industry topics such as inclusiveness and sustainability. Christian Siriano’s same black slip dress is featured on models of three different sizes and genders, while looks from Eckhaus Latta, Kidsuper and Imitation of Christ illustrate the wide range of upcycling possibilities.

A trio of denim looks represented the qualities of awareness, awareness and mindfulness, themes that have been relevant in the global denim industry in recent years. Threeasfour’s look combined new denim with recycled paint splatter jeans. The stitching details on the Who Decides War denim jacket and jeans, which designer Ev Bravado has worked on for over 40 hours, represent the rise of streetwear, while Denim Tears’ collaboration with Levi’s highlighted shed light on the cotton industry’s slave past. .

The second part of the exhibition, “In America: A Fashion Anthology”, will open on May 5, 2022 and feature sartorial stories related to the history of the museum’s American Wing period rooms.

The theme of the party

Just as the exhibition invites viewers to develop their interpretation of American fashion, guests at the Met Gala have taken both literal and creative approaches to dressing for the theme.

Along with model Ella Emhoff, Vice President’s daughter-in-law Kamala Harris, Stella McCartney and longtime partner Adidas created the red, white and blue ensembles worn by the 30-person Brooklyn United marching band that kicked off the festive evening. The group donned Adidas by Stella McCartney jumpsuits and Earthlight sneakers made with high-performance recycled yarn and a partially recycled midsole.

In a press release, McCartney noted that the sportswear looks marked a first for the Met Gala. “It speaks to the new world of the Met Gala; one that is more diverse, inclusive and with athletes and activists, not just celebrities and models, ”she said.

It was a good night’s sleep for the denim all around. Besides its strong presence in the gallery, the guests turned to 100% American fabric for their outfits.

In keeping with his brand’s shift to sustainable denim, designer Tommy Hilfiger sported a Tommy Hilfiger x Denis Frison single-breasted tuxedo blazer in recycled vintage denim with a red and blue striped silk patchwork lining and high waisted pants in recycled vintage denim. .

“Fashion has always been influenced by the world around it, but it has undergone one of its biggest transformations as a result of the unprecedented events of the past year,” said Hilfiger. “As designers and brands, we have had to completely rethink who we are and what we stand for. What inspired me on this journey of reconstruction is the opportunity to create a more sustainable, equitable and inclusive future for the next generation of fashion.

For rocker Debbie Harry, Zac Posen designed a fitted denim jacket and skirt from ripped red and white stripes reminiscent of the American flag. Actor and singer Ben Platt donned a 70s-inspired denim ensemble by Christian Cowan. Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o paired DeBeers diamonds with a crystal-embellished Versace dress made with denim panels.

Statements were also made on the Met’s grand staircase. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (DN.Y.) wore a custom Brother Vellies white dress and bag marked “Tax the Rich” in red. The design was inspired by “the call to action to tax those who continue to create power and wealth at the expense of marginalized communities,” the label said. Elements of the look also nod to Ocasio-Cortez’s Puerto Rican heritage, with Puerto Rico’s official flower, Flor De Maga, featured on his shoes.

“Although it’s set in New York City, the culture at the Met Gala is anything but,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “NYC is often synonymous with inclusiveness, inviting millions of people from all walks of life to come to this city. The Met Gala, on the other hand, is seen as elitist and inaccessible. I’m attending today because I want to change that and shine a light on women of color who are often not included at events like these.

In addition to Ocasio-Cortez, model and actress Leyna Bloom, singer and actress Audra McDonald and Gap Inc. CEO Sonia Syngal wore Brother Vellies. Aurora James, founder and creative director of the label and founder of Fifteen Percent Pledge, recently starred in Gap’s “Generation Good” campaign.

Gap’s Athleta brand, meanwhile, made their own statement working with Area to design the 88-pound crystal-covered dress seen on four-time Olympic gold medalist Simon Biles.

American poet and recent Vogue cover star Amanda Gorman made her Met Gala debut as co-chair of the event. Gorman worked with Vera Wang to create a personalized tribute to the Statue of Liberty, including a cover inspired by a book that read “Give Us Your Fated.”

Others have focused on America’s cowboy past. Jennifer Lopez styled her Ralph Lauren crystal and feather embellished dress with a faux fur bolero and western hat. Kacey Musgraves wore an equestrian skirt and riding boots from the American designer. Pharrell Williams was decked out in an all-leather western outfit from Chanel. Singer Leon Bridges stepped out in a blue suede fringed jacket from Bode.

Meanwhile, Kim Petras embraced horse chic with a Collina Strada dress fitted with a horse-head bodice.

Decision makers

The gala also hosted looks that will go down in the annals of Meta Gala history simply for their impact on pop culture.

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian West continued to sport incognito looks at high profile events, this time dressed head-to-toe in black Balenciaga. In the tradition of Lady Gaga à la 2019, Lil Nas X opted for three different looks before heading to the museum: a gold Versace cape, a bulletproof vest and a sparkling jumpsuit.

Rihanna, a late arrival in fashion with boyfriend A $ AP Rocky, wearing a custom Balenciaga dress that riffed on a black quilted coat. The multi-feature mogul styled her outfit with a black knit beanie and diamond accessories.

Along with showing another side of her personal style in an Oscar de la Renta peach tulle ball gown, co-chair Billie Eilish wielded the power Gen Z wields over legendary fashion houses. The New York Times reported that Eilish told the brand that they would only wear the Oscar de la Renta at the gala if the brand stopped selling fur, which they agreed to.

Showcasing the Spring / Summer 2022 collections, the catwalks were sashayed by models, the front rows adorned with celebrities and the streets brimming with color, boundless optimism and countless style inspirations.

With over 91 designers on display at NYFW, it’s understandable that some of the iconic designs and outfits were sadly missed. Fear not, though, as we’ve rounded up the most memorable and unmissable moments from this momentous occasion. We won’t go so far as to say that they will change the fashion world forever, but we will admit that these groundbreaking moments are already iconic in our books.

Read on for the best fashion from New York Fashion Week.

Aaron Philip makes history at Moschino

Handsome, effervescent and inspiring Aaron Philip made history at Moschino as the first disabled model to feature for a major luxury fashion brand. Dressed in a stunning canary two-piece with a matching bra, Aaron unmistakably stole the ‘babies-who-brunch’ inspired show. Reflecting on the occasion, Aaron remarks “I hope this is the start of more and inspires and enables more global brands at the same level to really work to include and standardize disabled presences and talents in their storefronts. People with disabilities, role models and talents matter so much.

A little closer to home at Afterpay Australian Fashion Week, we saw the pitfall of the performative alliance at the Future of Fashion show with a show that did not adequately meet the needs of all attendees, highlighting the disparity between symbolic character and true representation and inclusiveness.

Well done to Aaron, Jeremy and Moschino.

Gigi Hadid’s return to the runway

Prozenza

Gigi Hadid has certainly had a busy few months. Between looking after her daughter Khai and being one of the world’s most wanted models, we were surprised to see her appear in so many catwalks. The first cab to come out of the ranks was Proenza Schouler, who styled Gigi in a puffy two-tone dress and matching necklace, closely followed by Moschino, who Gigi both opened and closed. Her model sister Bella Hadid has been notoriously absent from the catwalk, choosing instead to focus her attention on her latest venture Kin Euphorics (but Gigi has certainly made enough appearances for both). Other highlights include Michael Kors, Brandon Maxwell, Altuzarra, and Tom Ford.

LaQuan Smith takes his career to new heights

La-Quan-Smith

With over a decade in business, LaQuan Smith has taken his career to new heights (atop the Empire State Building to be exact) for his Spring / Summer 2022 collection. LaQuan is the very first designer to host a fashion show in this prestigious venue overlooking his hometown of Queens. Models including Taylor Hill, Elsa Hosk and Winnie Harlow soared up the 120 floors, all draped in handcrafted LaQuan creations. The star of the show? The New York skyline at dusk, of course.

Maisie Wilen’s “Campy” Karaoke Night

Maisie-Wilen

Maisie Wilen met us at the Boom Boom Room for her NYFW debut. Since launching in 2019 (with support from Kanye West no less), designer Maisie Schloss has produced one impressive collection after another that is loved by Y2K Charlie XCX posters, Devon Lee Carlson.

The theme of the collection was equestrian kitsch chic, outfitted with jockey style shirts and ponytail blouses. Safe to say we can’t wait to see these looks on the races. German singer Kim Petras closed the show, which sported a lace babydoll dress and leggings, completed with a tiara while entertaining the crowd.

A family affair at Collina Strada

Collina-Strada

The official opening of New York Fashion Week was Collina Strada and what an opening it was. With festivity and joy being an integral part of the brand’s DNA, designer Hillary Taymour had no trouble bringing fun and electricity to the catwalk. His collection was a jubilant adventure, filled with diverse models, incredibly chic Y2K designs and a celebration of family. The matriarchal affair saw twins descend the track in tandem and grandmothers and granddaughters hugged. The sweetest moment was Taymour closing the show with his niece in tow. Our hearts melt.

Tom Ford brings parachute pants to the runway

Tom ford

He is the modern fashion matriarch and (as president of the CFDA) has identified himself as the person to wrap up the prestigious week. Ford got the mission, continuing the party in a vibrant and colorful collection, shaped by his time in LA. Pictures of glittery bicycles, pepto bismol pink blazers and chic swimsuits characterize the 80s athleisure collection. The words cute, sexy and sporty certainly come to mind.

The very glamorous Ford stepped away from its iconic dresses and seductive silhouettes, opting instead for a series of crotch pants reminiscent of MC Hammer. Will we all be inspired to do aerobics? As long as we carry Tom Ford, we don’t care what we do.

Tory Burch threw the best block party ever

Tory-Burch

Tory Burch’s Spring / Summer 2022 collection was a love letter to New York City. Celebrate and support Downtown New York City company Tory Burch hosted a Mercer Street Block Party that showcased SoHo’s iconic businesses and restaurants, with cabins lined up on either side of the runway. Guests were invited to eat, drink and shop from iconic New York vendors while indulging in the Claire McCardell-inspired designs of Burch.

Sully has been featured in hand at British Appaloosa Society (BApS) breed shows since he was a yearling, where he has continued to entertain the crowds by jumping every year.

This year promised to be even more festive after the cancellation of the 2020 show due to COVID-19 and the company reaching its 45th anniversary.

We usually attend the Northern Breed Show, which has been held for some time at the beautiful site of Bishop Burton College. It is a beautiful place and it is very special to be a part of the show.

The newsletter i cut through the noise

Anita and Haverlands Sully Fire at the Northern British Appaloosa Society Breed Show.

This year the BApS council organized another well organized breed show. In fact, it was so good that we found ourselves in a real dilemma – are we taking Sully for the first time to Nationals in the south?

In the end, we figured we would make the three and a half hour trip with him. We estimated he was five, more mature (allegedly), and a good traveler. We felt he would put up with the journey.

Well he did. Me on the other hand? In other words, I think my horse handled the trip better than I did. After adding an extra hour to our itinerary by driving home for my boots (and almost causing a divorce in the car), we set off. Again.

I wasn’t a fan of the slowdown in motorway traffic and there were quite a few delays which meant we were at a standstill for some, but Sully took it all in his stride. I had traveled with all my hay nets hanging up and he chewed happily thinking that all of his Christmases had arrived at the same time.

Once there, the excitement and nerves set in, but Sully was not phased by his new surroundings. He was located next to Mitzi (his unrequited love from previous shows), so he was more than happy.

We had a good evening meal with the company; giving us the chance to find friends I only knew through social networks and, of course, the opportunity to catch up with the old ones too (big thumbs up to the Geordie gang). My husband even did karaoke – much to our twelve year old daughter’s embarrassment.

Earlier in the year, Sully and I enjoyed the Northern British Appaloosa Society exhibit when we came home with a stack of rosettes. It was his first year here as a mounted horse so I was super proud.

Going to the nationals is much more important as there must have been around seventy horses easily (if not more) competing that day. In one of his classes in hand, there were fourteen I believe, so I was super proud of the fourth place.

Such strong classes bring out incredible beauties. Everyone looked fabulous and their horses too. I was just happy if I stayed. That was my main goal for the day. You never know how a youngster will go to the big rings with huge classes.

Sully was in great shape and outside as usual, waiting for class. So much so that I wondered if I should ride it, but with friends by my side there was no time to argue. They literally put me in the saddle for the Concours d’Elegance. I was on his back before I had time to blink. Best for the nerves, I think.

I love the competition class. I have always admired the competitors since he was a yearling. I remember the ladies who came in, magnificent in their mounts and their flowing skirts at the trot. It is fascinating to see and so elegant. I never thought I would go do it on Sully because it’s the stuff of dreams, literally the stuff of dreams, but I did.

In the North, we finished second and at the Nationals, we got a third place. Absolutely fantastic. I think I cried a little when they passed me the rosettes in the salons. I had had a number of falls from Sully earlier in the year where I shattered my self-confidence due to an injury he sustained from a fall into a ditch.

He had had treatment, but the fear of falls stayed fresh in my mind. So staying, riding this beautiful arena with all these wonderful horses was even more special for me.

I have met some fabulous people from these classes. Real inspiring women. They were all so lovely and one in particular helped keep me calm. I have to say a personal thank you to the wonderful Rachel Leyland who checked me out the whole time I was in the ring. She did the same at the Nationals too. I don’t think she has any idea how much this has helped me anchor.

As I prepared for this class, I asked my daughter, Alyssia, to help my young horse “take” the skirt. It’s not for all horses, but Sully really is a special little guy.

He had only been riding for a few months when we started training him in confinement. A friend in particular encouraged me to train daily and motivated me to ride in it, despite his young age and his introduction to horseback riding. You know who you are and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

In parallel, I also joined a great Facebook page for the competitions (thank you Laura Watts for your help) where Sarah Wood, the coordinator, challenged me to go up to the race class and promised me a surprise if I was doing it.

Well I did, and I told her after and sent her a picture. Sarah makes rosettes for a living and sent me the most beautiful ribbon for courage and a letter that I will keep forever. I’ve never met her, but wow… a woman encouraging women is something to be proud of. Thanks Sarah; it’s in my kitchen.

There are so many nice people out there who help others by inspiring them and giving them the courage they need to believe in themselves. Believe me, I know. I have also experienced so much encouragement from my friends and family. You are all helping. At the show itself, I was hesitant to roll and my lovely show buddy geordie gave me just the chat I needed. Thanks Heather. I’ll be there for you too when you get on Baby Rlmo next year.

My horse trainer, Harriette, always pushes me and believes in Sully even though sometimes I swear her when she says “now do this but better”. This is the lady I sent him to so he could go. It is excellent and I highly recommend it. I have such a great support network that only wants the best for Sully and me. I am very, very lucky.

My poor breeder is constantly updated with our antics. Sorry Paula, I can’t help myself. I just need to share every moment with you. I’m kind of like your personal stalker. I try not to shoot every minute with Sully but it’s a hard habit to break.

At the nationals, Sully was third in Ultra Novice Ridden out of a solid class of about twelve, I think. Again, it was mind blowing. To think that at the beginning of the year I felt like I was not good enough for him. We were now riding here at the Nationals – with a smile on our faces.

Sully went to the Novice Ridden class with my friend Ellen Webster. Ellen helped me bring him home (before he was sent to Harriette’s) and has a very special relationship with him. They put on a fabulous show and got there first. Incredibly, they made it to the evening performance championships. It was fantastic. My heart was bursting with pride. Ellen, seriously, a big thank you to you. You’ve been there for all of my “firsts” with Sully and his wonderful memories that we create together.

While they weren’t seated, they put on a brilliant show; despite it being so broken. Thank you Ellie Twiggs who kindly loaned Ellen all her evening outfits for the ring as we hadn’t thought he would qualify so we didn’t bring anything. What an incredibly nice woman she was but, as I quickly learn, the equestrian world of Appaloosa is full of these great people.

It seems like if you have an Appaloosa, you instantly have friends. It’s the friendliest show in the world and I highly recommend the company as the top company for Appaloosa owners. The council works very hard at these events (and the judges) and by God they create memories for all of us. We are very grateful.

Last but not least is a thank you to my friend who I met across society when Sully was just a foal Kirsty Blythe and her adorable husband Danny. They let my daughter do her first Appaloosa Junior Handler lesson with their beautiful, calm and beautiful mare ‘Mitzi’.

Alyssia loved her junior class and came home with a beautiful rosette. Also, thanks for helping me get undressed for my next class (super quick change of outfits) and for diving Sully in the morning. I don’t know where I would be without you snatching all the skirts, canes and gloves from me.

I know my husband is not on horseback, but he kind of took care of the fact that my daughter and I have horses at home. He had to move to a larger equestrian property for our horses and is constantly harassed for a 24 hour arena (when did we have him?). All I can say is come join us… a fourth fuck horse isn’t much for the gang. Get in the saddle. If you can’t beat us, join us.

If you want to follow our equestrian getaways, follow me on Facebook on In The Saddle – Anita Marsh. Or you can add me on Twitter, but keep in mind that I’m a total technophobe and don’t know how to use it on @inthesaddleblog.

Don’t expect to read up on a professional rider. I’m just a middle-aged postmenopausal woman living her dreams in the saddle with her three horses at home. Usually ending up in precarious positions, always doubting herself but never losing confidence in her equines.

Until next time, stay safe and have fun driving.

Social outings, as we know them, have now been suspended for almost two months due to the coronavirus outbreak. Quarantined with her family at their Mumbai residence, Mannat, Khan documented how she marked her big day with a series of self-portraits and portraits. videos on his Instagram account. Nothing like a period piece to inspire a wardrobe refresh. Last year we fell in love with the Wedgwood blues and Regency era style thanks to Bridgerton, and turned to pastoral and intimate separations (also known as cottagecore) in response to Dickinson. With Emily Mortimer’s The pursuit of love, a television adaptation of Nancy Mitford’s novel of the same name, transports us once again to 1930s England, straddling the urban and rural worlds of the upper classes of society.

The 3-part miniseries, which is on Amazon Prime, tells the story of wild, impulsive and hopelessly romantic Linda Radlett (Lily James), as told by her much more down-to-earth best friend and cousin Fanny Logan ( Emily Beecham). Told over a 15-year period between WWI and WWII, The pursuit of love follows them in their meandering search for their happy endings as they fly from Oxfordshire to London via Paris. And while their love lives can be messy, their clothes decidedly not – as befits two women who dare to live outside the restrictive gender norms of their time, the wardrobe is refreshingly modern with a touch of period chic. Below, four fabulous looks from The pursuit of love, and where to buy them.

Bucolic happiness

Robert Viglasky

Lord Merlin’s Cecil Beaton-style debut in Episode 1, to the tune of “Dandy in the Underworld” no less, was absolutely fantastic but perhaps less suited to everyday applications. This look, however, is very much. Take inspiration from the eccentric aristocrat (played by Andrew Scott) for an effortless late-summer ensemble in light, neutral hues with a casually-sprinkled scarf to add a dose of studied nonchalance. As for Linda’s look, a cute summer dress and cute accessories are a sure-fire combination for the season, especially if a romantic country picnic is planned.

The feminine mystique

pursuit of love

Fanny’s much more practical layout (compared to Linda’s) doesn’t mean that she has less of an independent streak, which she exhibits through her intellectuality and modern sense of style. A bold print blouse certainly makes a statement, and when paired with an elegant skirt, an elegant diamond bracelet and a luxe silk scarf, it’s sartorial proof that being feminine. and free spirit should never be a contradiction.

HAVE THE LOOK

Sophisticated city

pursuit of love

Yes, it is possible to wear a fedora and a long cashmere coat in a way that is more “a dapper man in town” and less “on your way to a murder mystery party.” A confident aura, like that of Fabrice de Sauveterre (Call my agent!‘s Assaad Bouab) helps. Simplicity too: hat, coat, impeccable shoes, exquisite watch. For women, a trendy coat and oxfords are two must-haves that will never go out of style. As for the beret? Well we must have some fun, isn’t it?

HAVE THE LOOK

Chic countryside

pursuit of love

Country life doesn’t always have to be all about flowers, frills and wickerwork. And whether you ride or not, the equestrian-inspired style is a timeless classic. Just like Linda does here, start with a timeless, well-tailored blazer, then change the look with feminine accessories like lace gloves, a delicate veil, and delicate jewelry.

PRINCESS Andre looks more and more like her glamorous mother Katie Price, as she has recently started to share some of the same interests.

The 14-year-old daughter of Katie, 43, and Peter Andre, 48, has once been dubbed Katie’s ‘mini-me’, with fans of the glamor model readily agreeing.

The princess is often pictured wearing outfits similar to her mother’s, while she also regularly wears fake tans, makeup and false eyelashes.

Here’s a look at some of the ways the teenager is starting to look and act like her famous mom.

Hair we go

During her vacation earlier this month, Princess looked like her mother when her head was full of braids. Who can forget Katie’s time on I’m A Celebrity where she donned the same hairstyle.

The princess swapped her trademark blonde hair for a braided new look while vacationing in St. Lucia with her mother, Katie’s fiance Carl Woods, and son Harvey.

Carl shared a photo of the princess snuggling up to the couple on the sofa.

And with her new hair, she’s the spitting image of Katie during her stint on the show in 2003, where she met Princess’s dad.

Makeup lover

Princess is a makeup fan and, like her mom, has shared photos of dolls on Instagram before.

One photo that was uploaded was a photo of the gorgeous teenage girl wearing hot pink eyeshadow and a matching neon pink hoodie, looking like her mom sitting next to her.

Katie also once shared a photo of her eldest daughter alongside her makeup artist Zoe James.

FABULOUS BINGO: WIN A £ 250K SHARE

Katie captioned the photo, “My gorgeous @officialprincess_andre did @zoejamesmua’s makeup and hers, they are beautiful both inside and out.”

Zoe also shared a photo of Princess wearing makeup, saying, “There was no foundation, it was just mascara, a little bit of eye shadow, blush and gloss!

“She doesn’t need makeup but it was fun for Tik Tok!”

Princess has already shown off her own makeup skills by giving Zoe an incredibly glamorous makeover.

And Katie has always encouraged her daughter to express herself through makeup, Peter “can’t stand” his little girl’s foray into beauty.

In December, Peter was reportedly seriously “unhappy” after his daughter glamorized herself for a photoshoot with her famous mum.

A source told The Sun: “Pete doesn’t want Princess to follow in her mother’s footsteps at all.

“Princess received a lot of comments from trolls online after the photos were posted. Pete is very upset that Katie has put her in this situation.”

Match made in heaven

Carl has already noticed that Princess is her mom’s mini-me, and he’s not wrong.

Sharing a photo of the young girl pouting over his shoulder, he wrote that she was “definitely her mother’s daughter” adding the hashtag “#MiniMe”.

The pair often dress in matching pink outfits and matching tracksuits and have been seen wearing similar stylish fur jackets before.

They also regularly spend nights together adorning each other with fake tans and false eyelashes.

Model behavior

Princess is an avid social media user and regularly uploads photos of herself with family and friends.

She also doesn’t hesitate to upload a few model-worthy snaps, just like her former glamorous model mother.

The 14-year-old has also previously modeled clothes for Katie’s clothing line and for other fashion brands.

Peter has previously expressed his disdain for the princess having a public Instagram account, which Katie originally created for her when she was nine.

In a desperate attempt to protect his daughter from online abuse, he asked her to turn off comments on his account.

He said Again! magazine: ” I encouraged Bista [Princess] to turn off her comments on Instagram, which I’m so glad she did. Let’s stop the trolls in their tracks. ”

Princess also had a TikTok account, but it was recently suspended, which Peter argued.

Writing in his column for the magazine, Peter explained, “Now correct me if I’m wrong, but I told him that in order for them to ban you, there has to be a reason.

“I said, whatever it is, if you’re not supposed to be on it, let go!”

Tanned to the max

The princess loves a fake tan, just like her mother, and the couple often spend nights. apply the beauty product together.

Earlier this year, Katie uploaded a video of her and her daughter proudly showing off their fake tans, despite an “orange” backlash from critics.

The former glamorous model ignores criticism and supports Princess’s desire to engage in the use of a fake tan.

Riding around

The similarities between Katie and Princess don’t end there, as they also share a love of horses.

The couple regularly share photos of themselves riding horses together.

Katie has once credited horseback riding with being ‘mentally’ good for her and in addition to owning her own hot pink horse stall and stables, Katie once started her own riding line.

She also previously uploaded a video, sharing how proud she is of Princess for following in her footsteps on horseback.

Previously, Katie Price and her 13-year-old daughter Princess showed off a fake tan while ignoring the “orange” backlash from critics.

Additionally, Katie Price’s fiancé Carl Woods reveals their wedding countdown as the star gets closer to her hubby number four.

And Katie Price’s real name has been revealed – and it’s a mouthful.
