Fastest Speightster Colt at Fasig-Tipton Santa Anita Under-Tack Show


Hip 109, a Speightster colt, breaks 1/8 in 10 2/5, 2021 Fasig-Tipton Santa Anita 2 years in practice sale.

A foal by WinStar Farm resident Speightster reached the fastest stage of the Fasig-Tipton Santa Anita 2-Year-Olds In Training Sale show under-tack Monday, covering distance in: 10 2/5 seconds.

The bay foal, offered as Hip 109, comes from the mare Pankhurst of Artie Schiller, from the family of Passionato, classified in 1st year, and from Mama’s Pro and Pro Prado, classified in 2nd year. LG entrusts the colt raised in Kentucky, as agent.

Monday’s fastest juvenile at a quarter mile was Hip 54, a first generation Cupid filly who covered the distance in: 22 flat.

The dark bay or brown filly is not a winner Oro Medal the mare Wild Mocha, who is the dam of three winners of five race colts. The 2nd year winners Passion For Action and Payton d’Oro are part of the filly’s extended family. LG also logged the fastest quarter-mile horse of the day as an agent.
