Durango, Colorado – Police in Durango are looking for a man they say was caught in surveillance footage having sex with a horse riding a La Plata County fairground.
The incident happened around 10 p.m. Thursday evening
Police were dispatched to the La Plata County Fairgrounds at 2500 Main Avenue following reports of a man having sex with a horse on board.
Police said the horse keeper had a video surveillance camera inside the stall to monitor activity. Police said the suspect noticed the camera and brought the equipment.
The man was not found anywhere when the police arrived. Police recovered the backpack and bicycle that belonged to the suspect.
Men are wanted on suspicion of animal cruelty, and police are concerned for public safety due to the suspect’s sexually deviant behavior, they said.
The suspect is depicted as a man wearing a horizontal striped hoodie, hat, glasses and mask. He has long, almost shoulder-length hair and is a pale color.
