Sarah Ferguson returns to social media in new avatar weeks after Queen’s funeral
LONDON, ENGLAND: Prince Andrew’s ex-wife Sarah Ferguson has finally posted on social media after a long silence following the Queen’s funeral. The mother of Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice shared an image of herself donning an equestrian outfit while holding a top hat in her hand on Tuesday, October 4. She appeared to be posing in a stable that matched her outfit. Sarah’s last post was recorded on September 9, where she expressed her grief over the death of her former mother-in-law.

Sarah’s outpouring of love for the Queen
Sarah married Andrew in 1986 and had two daughters Eugenie and Beatrice during their time together. The couple separated in 1996. However, they are still on good terms as they both live at Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park. Sarah has always been very close to the Queen, but was apparently absent during the late monarch’s funeral procession which was held in Westminster Hall on September 14. ‘ podcast about the Queen being her ‘greatest mentor’, in 2017. ‘My greatest mentor and a person who believes in me is the Queen – and [she] never wavered. Sarah also shared a message expressing her grief over the Queen’s death on September 9. She recalled her bond with the Queen and wrote: “I am heartbroken at the passing of Her Majesty The Queen. She leaves behind an extraordinary legacy: the most fantastic example of duty, service and steadfastness, and a consistent and consistent presence as Head of State for over 70 years. She gave her whole life selflessly to the people of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth. To me, she was the most incredible -in-laws and friends. I will always be grateful to her for the generosity she showed me by staying close to me even after my divorce. I will miss her more than words can express.”
